Baltic Amber and Sterling Silver Filigree Brooch - A large asymmetrical brooch featuring a central cognac-colored Baltic amber cabochon. The amber exhibits natural internal characteristics, including organic inclusions and a horizontal fracture line. The stone is secured by four prongs with ball finial tips and is set within a frame of scrolling silver wirework filigree. The reverse features a horizontal pin with a rotating safety catch. Small stamped marks are visible on the inner rim and near the hinge mechanism. Length: 2.25 inches Width: 1.25 inches.
