Bulova Vintage Quartz Day-Date Octagonal Wristwatch Reference 83410 - A vintage Bulova quartz wristwatch featuring an octagonal case construction with a gold-tone base metal bezel and a stainless steel case back. The champagne dial is set with applied gold-tone baton hour markers and features a day-date aperture at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is marked BULOVA at the 12 o'clock position, QUARTZ above the 6 o'clock position, and SWISS 83410 along the bottom edge. The stainless steel case back is stamped BULOVA WATCH CO, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, BASE METAL BEZEL, and CROWN with a directional arrow. It also bears the date code P3, indicating a production year of 1983. The watch is mounted on a gold-tone expansion band with interior links marked MADE IN USA. No box or papers are included with this lot. This timepiece needs a battery. Case size: 30mm width excluding crown; 36mm lug-to-lug. The watch is in fair to poor cosmetic condition. There is significant wear and loss to the gold-tone plating on the case bezel, lugs, and expansion band, with the base metal visible in multiple areas. The crystal exhibits numerous surface scratches. The movement is currently untested and is noted as needing a battery; functional integrity is not guaranteed and professional servicing is recommended.
