LeCoultre Gilt Metal 8-Day Barrel Desk Clock with Barometer and Thermometer - A mid-20th century multi-function desk weather station manufactured by LeCoultre. This runs barrell clock features a cylindrical gilt metal case with octagonal faceted end caps and a single curved crystal protecting the instruments. The left side contains an 8-day Swiss clock movement with a silvered dial, applied gilt Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions, and round hour markers. The dial is marked LeCoultre, 8 Days, and Swiss. The center section houses a liquid-in-glass thermometer with dual Celsius and Fahrenheit scales ranging from 0 to 50 degrees and 20 to 120 degrees respectively. The right side features an aneroid barometer with a silvered dial marked with atmospheric conditions including Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry, labeled LeCoultre and Barometer. The barometer includes a black indicator hand and a gilt adjustable reference pointer. Length: 4.5 inches. The gilt metal case exhibits surface oxidation, spotting, and tarnish throughout consistent with age. The dials and thermometer glass appear intact and legible.
