Esprit 17 Jewel Gold Filled Swiss Manual Wind Pendant Watch - A vintage lady's pendant watch by Esprit featuring a Swiss-made manual wind movement. The timepiece is housed in a yellow gold-filled case manufactured by the Duluth Watch Case Company. The gold-toned dial is decorated with an engine-turned circular pattern in the center and features black Arabic numeral hour markers with a railroad-style outer minute track. The dial is marked ESPRIT and SWISS at the 6 o'clock position and is fitted with dark spade-shaped hands. The interior of the case back is marked DUECO within an oval and stamped WARRANTED 20 YEARS. It also bears the serial number 45471 and various hand-etched watchmaker service marks. The movement plates are engraved 17 JEWELS and ADJUSTMENT, as well as F.A. H & CO SWISS. The case includes a winding crown at the 12 o'clock position and two attachment loops located at the top and bottom. Case diameter: 26 mm. The watch exhibits significant wear and patina consistent with age. The dial shows heavy yellowing and visible staining. The gold-filled case has numerous fine surface scratches and areas of verdigris oxidation around the hinge and edges. The crystal shows light scuffing and internal debris. The mechanical movement is untested and is sold in as-is condition.
