A Collection of Vintage Ladies Wristwatches Including Bulova Hamilton and Benrus - This collection of vintage ladies mechanical wristwatches features a variety of American and Swiss-made timepieces from the mid to late 20th century. The assortment includes a Bulova square tank-style watch with a 10 karat gold-filled case, reference C403693, and a white dial with black Arabic numerals. A Hamilton tonneau-shaped watch is present, featuring a 14 karat white gold-filled case by Wadsworth and an aged cream dial. The lot also contains a round Benrus wristwatch with articulated 1/20 10 karat gold-filled lugs and a red center seconds hand, housed in a 20 micron gold electroplated bezel. Further items include a round Benrus cocktail watch with a gold-tone bezel and sub-seconds dial on a cord strap with a 12 karat gold-filled clasp; a Swiss-made Bufen oval watch with a 10 karat rolled gold plate bezel on a scalloped JB Champion expansion band; and a round Bulova watch head featuring a coin-edge bezel and N-8 date code for 1978. The Benrus cord strap model shows a heavily patinated dial. General oxidation, surface scratches, and wear to the gold plating or filling are present across the collection. The 1978 Bulova is missing its strap. Mechanical movements have not been tested for accuracy or longevity and are sold for parts or restoration; professional servicing is recommended.
