Vintage Geneva Art Deco Tonneau Wristwatch with 17 Jewel Chase Swiss Movement - A vintage manual-wind mechanical wristwatch featuring an Art Deco style tonneau-shaped case. The dial is marked Geneva and features a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position with raised gold-tone Arabic numerals and a square minute track. The mechanical movement is marked Chase Watch Corp., Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels, and Unadjusted. The case is constructed with a 10 karat rolled gold plate top and a stainless steel case back. The watch is fitted with an expansion-style bracelet marked Zenith 1/20 10K G.F. Top. This item is not running. Width: 22 mm excluding crown Lug-to-lug length: 35 mm. The watch is in heavily worn vintage condition. There is significant wear to the gold plating (brassing) across the lugs and case edges. The crystal is heavily scratched and shows prominent age-related yellowing. The dial shows minor staining and dust. The movement is not currently in working order and is not running.
