Wittnauer Diamond Premier Gold Tone Quartz Wristwatch Reference 6172101 - This vintage Wittnauer wristwatch is a Diamond Premier model, identified by reference number 6172101 on the original hang tag. The timepiece features a round gold-tone base metal case and a matching champagne dial. The dial is designed with a single diamond marker at the 12 o clock position and two gold-tone hands. Markings on the dial include the Wittnauer name and W logo, Quartz in script, and the reference RI0498 SWISS 5100. The stainless steel case back is stamped Base Metal. The watch is paired with its original black lizard-grain leather strap, which is embossed on the interior with Longines Wittnauer and lizard grain made in Austria. This item is new old stock with tags and needs batteries for operation. It is accompanied by its original Longines branded presentation box. Case size: 25mm. Excellent vintage condition, appearing as new old stock (NOS). The watch retains its original retail hang tags indicating an original price of 215.00. There are very minor surface scratches on the case and back consistent with handling and long-term storage. The movement is currently untested and will require a fresh battery for operation.
