Movado Classic Dress Quartz Watch Reference 87-A4-887 - A Movado Classic Dress quartz wristwatch featuring a circular white dial with applied gold-tone Roman numeral hour markers. The dial is equipped with a date aperture at the 3 o'clock position and an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. The watch features gold-tone hands and a fluted crown accented with a blue cabochon. The case is constructed from gold-plated base metal with a stainless steel case back. It is mounted on a brown leather strap with a gold-tone pin buckle. The dial is marked MOVADO and SWISS QUARTZ. The case back is inscribed MOVADO SINCE 1881, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, WATER-RESISTANT, 87-A4-887, 8072860, and QUARTZ. This timepiece needs a battery. Total length: Approximately 7.5 inches Case size: 32mm. The watch is in fair to poor condition. The gold-plated case shows significant wear and brassing, particularly on the bezel and lugs. There are surface scratches visible on the crystal and the stainless steel case back. The brown leather strap is in poor condition, exhibiting heavy wear, cracking, and peeling of the top layer. The movement is currently untested and needs a battery.
