Vintage Citizen Seven Quartz Gold-Tone Date Wristwatch - A vintage Citizen Seven quartz wristwatch featuring a gold-tone base metal top case and a stainless steel case back. The silvery-white dial is decorated with a vertical brushed finish and applied gold-tone baton hour markers. The dial includes gold-tone hands and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. This timepiece utilizes a Japanese quartz movement. The dial is marked QUARTZ at the 12 o'clock position and Seven in script above the 6 o'clock position. The bottom edge of the dial is inscribed MOV'T JAPAN DIAL TAIWAN and P-1410 6-039197 SMO. The case back is stamped CITIZEN WATCH CO., 4-068815 SMT, 10657972, and AY-2044. The interior of the case back is marked MOVT JAPAN and CASE HONG KONG. The watch is fitted with an integrated gold-tone link bracelet featuring a stainless steel fold-over clasp marked STAINLESS STEEL. The end links are stamped 179 and 621. Case size: 35mm Total length: 9.5 inches. This watch is in heavily used condition with significant wear and plating loss visible on the case and bracelet links. The crystal exhibits numerous scratches and scuffing. The applied gold-tone CITIZEN logo has detached from the dial and is currently loose beneath the crystal. The movement is not currently running and needs battery. This item is being sold as-is for parts or restoration.
