Citizen Quartz Gold Tone Tank Style Wristwatch Reference 6030-S05219 - A vintage Citizen quartz wristwatch featuring a rectangular tank-style case. The case is constructed from gold-plated base metal, marked BASE METAL YP on the stainless steel case back. The champagne-colored dial is accented with gold-tone dot hour markers and baton hands, displaying the Citizen brand name, Quartz, and a stylized CQ logo. Markings at the 6 o'clock position on the dial read MOV'T JAPAN DIAL TAIWAN 6030-S19101 Z SMS. The case back is stamped CITIZEN WATCH CO. BASE METAL YP 6030-S05219 SMG with serial number 70400214. The watch is fitted with a matching gold-tone link bracelet featuring a fold-over clasp embossed with the Citizen name. This item needs battery. Case width: approximately 25 mm Total length: approximately 8 inches. The watch is in pre-owned vintage condition with visible signs of wear. There is significant brassing and thinning of the gold-tone plating along the edges and high points of the case and throughout the bracelet links. The crystal exhibits light surface scratches and some debris trapped near the bezel edges. The movement is currently untested and requires a new battery for operation.
