The obverse displays a central design depicting a deer buck and doe. The legends CONSERVATIONIST and EMPIRE STATE are positioned along the upper and lower circular margins, respectively. The reverse features a pin-back fastener with a rotating safety catch and is stamped with the manufacturer mark BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER, N.Y. Diameter: 16 mm.
