Watson and Newell Company Sterling Silver Monogrammed Locket Case - An antique circular pendant locket or sovereign-style case made of .925 sterling silver. The interior is stamped with the maker mark W and D for the Watson and Newell Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and the word STERLING. Both the obverse and reverse feature an engine-turned pinstripe pattern on the field and a scrolled foliate border. The obverse is decorated with a central ornate foliate wreath enclosing an engraved script monogram, possibly RR or PR. The case features a top-mounted hinge and a fixed bail with a jump ring.
