A Collection of US, MT, and Franklin Mint Commemorative Coin Sets - This collection contains multiple commemorative proof sets and numismatic medals. Included is a 1986 US Liberty Coins two-coin set in its original blue velvet case. The set consists of a proof silver dollar (38.1 mm, 26.73 grams, .900 fine silver) and a proof copper-nickel half dollar (30.6 mm, 11.34 grams), both produced at the San Francisco Mint. Also present is a 1975 Malta silver coinage display containing two coins: a 2 Liri (£M2) piece featuring a portrait of Alphonse M. Galea and a 4 Liri (£M4) piece depicting St. Agatha's Tower at Qammieh. Both Maltese coins feature the coat of arms of the Republic of Malta on the reverse and are housed in a black and silver frame. The collection is further comprised of a Franklin Mint Presidential Mini-Coin Set, which includes miniature sterling silver medals of US Presidents from George Washington through Richard M. Nixon. This set is housed in two white folders within a black display case and includes a plastic magnifier, a Jimmy Carter 39th President miniature medal, and a generic 10 mm sterling silver medal.
