Late Victorian Yellow Gold Floral Openwork Bar Brooch with Red and White Gemstones - Late Victorian or early Edwardian era bar brooch featuring a stylized foliate and floral openwork motif. The central design is set with a marquise-cut red gemstone, likely a garnet or ruby, flanked by two small, round, white cabochon-cut gemstones. The brooch terminates at each end with a circular-cut red gemstone. The piece is constructed from yellow gold that has been tested for metal purity. The reverse displays an openwork framework and is fitted with a traditional pin stem and C-clasp. Marks are present on the reverse of the central element but are not clearly legible.
