Italian Floral Micro-Mosaic Circular Brooch - A circular micro-mosaic brooch featuring a central rose motif in red and black. The central floral element is surrounded by a ring of eight white leaf-shaped or floral motifs, each framed by red tesserae. Small green and yellow glass tesserae (smalti) accents are integrated into the design. The mosaic is set within a gold-tone base metal mounting featuring a twisted rope border. The reverse of the brooch is impressed with the mark MADE IN ITALY. It is equipped with a pin stem and a circular safety catch mechanism. Diameter: Approx. 1 inch (25 mm).
