Uncas Art Deco Style Shell Cameo and Marcasite Ring - A vintage cocktail ring manufactured by the Uncas Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island. The ring features a rectangular face set with a carved shell cameo depicting a woman in profile with an elaborate hairstyle and draped clothing, rendered in cream relief against a salmon-colored ground. The cameo is bordered by a silver-toned metal frame accented with numerous small, round-cut marcasites. The gallery of the setting exhibits an openwork geometric pattern resembling a Greek key or meander design. The interior of the band is stamped with the Uncas hallmark, which consists of a capital letter U superimposed over a horizontal arrow. Ring size: US 3.75.
