Vintage Silver-Tone Filigree Butterfly Brooch - This vintage butterfly brooch features intricate filigree construction. The wings are designed with fine-gauge, hand-manipulated silver-tone wires forming scrolled and looped patterns within a structural frame. The segmented body is created from a tightly coiled wire wrap around a central core, ending in a rounded head with two curved antennae. The back of the brooch has a diamond-shaped support plate and a simple C-clasp mechanism with a long pin stem. There are no visible maker's marks or hallmarks on the item.
