US 1897 Morgan Silver Dollar - US 1897 Morgan silver dollar, Philadelphia Mint issue. This specimen is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. It is a raw coin and has not been submitted to a third-party grading service for certification. Weight: 0.860 ozt. Circulated. The coin exhibits wear on the high points of the design, particularly on the hair above the ear and the eagle's breast feathers. Numerous contact marks, hairlines, and small scratches are visible on both the obverse and reverse surfaces. There is a localized area of yellow-toned residue or discoloration on the obverse cheek and hair, along with darker toning around the legends.
