US 1898 Morgan Silver Dollar - US 1898 Morgan silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. It features the Morgan Liberty head design on the obverse and a heraldic eagle design on the reverse. The coin has a reeded edge and does not bear a mint mark. Weight: 0.859 troy ounces (approximately 26.72 grams). Very fine. The coin exhibits moderate wear on the high relief areas, specifically the hair and eagle breast. Numerous contact marks and surface scuffs are present in the fields. A prominent yellowish-brown oxidation or residue spot is visible on the reverse rim at the 3 o'clock position.
