The obverse features the Morgan Liberty profile design with the date 1879 and thirteen stars. The reverse displays the heraldic eagle design with the motto In God we trust and the denomination One Dollar. The coin features a reeded edge. Weight: 0.862 ozt (26.81 grams). The coin exhibits significant surface abrasions, bag marks, and contact marks, particularly across the obverse fields and Liberty's cheek. Moderate wear is visible on the high points of the eagle's breast feathers.
