Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Brooch - A vintage Southwestern style brooch constructed from sterling silver and featuring twelve round turquoise cabochons. The design is comprised of four interconnected diagonal silver bars, with each bar holding three stones set in sawtooth bezels. Small silver raindrop beads are applied to the ends of each bar as decorative accents. The reverse of the piece is stamped STERLING and is fitted with a pin back and a rotating safety clasp. The silver displays a natural dark patina. Length: Approximately 1.75 inches Width: Approximately 0.75 inches Weight: 0.248 ozt. The brooch is in good vintage condition. The silver surfaces show tarnish and a heavy patina consistent with age. All turquoise stones are intact and appear securely set. The pin mechanism and safety clasp are functional.
