A Pair of 10K Gold Victorian Style Carved Jet Mourning Dangle Earrings - This is a matched pair of long drop earrings designed in the Victorian mourning jewelry style. The earrings feature hand-carved, matte black components composed of jet or bog oak. The construction begins with a carved bell-shaped cap at the top, which is linked to a flat, circular ring component. Inside each ring, three small, polished black beads are suspended on a central wire. The earrings terminate in a faceted black drop bead, likely French jet or onyx, accented with a smaller round bead at the base. The earrings are fitted with 10K gold fishhook ear wires. The internal pins and jump rings connecting the sections exhibit a dark, oxidized finish. Total length: approximately 2.5 inches. This matched pair is in good condition.
