Vintage Bell Trading Post Solid Copper Knifewing Motif Souvenir Link Bracelet Watkins Glen New York - A vintage souvenir link bracelet produced by Bell Trading Post for Watkins Glen, New York. The piece is made of solid copper and features six rectangular, slightly curved panels connected by decorative double-loop metal links. Each panel contains an embossed, stylized winged figure known as a Knifewing, rendered in high relief against a darkened and textured background. The bracelet is secured with a fold-over clasp and a security jump ring. A small rectangular metal tag is attached to the clasp. Side one of the tag is stamped with the text WATKINS GLEN NEW YORK. Side two features the Bell Trading Post hallmark of a bell on a hanging signpost above the words SOLID COPPER. Length: 6.5 inches Width: 1 inch. The bracelet is in vintage condition with visible surface wear and tarnish throughout. Significant green oxidation, or verdigris, is present on the reverse side of several copper panels.
