Vintage Southwestern Style Silver and Turquoise Roadrunner Brooch - A vintage Southwestern style brooch depicting a stylized roadrunner in profile, a motif frequently found in mid-20th-century Native American jewelry from the Navajo and Zuni traditions. The piece is constructed from silver-toned metal and features two inlaid turquoise cabochons: a small circular stone for the eye and a teardrop-shaped stone on the body. The wings and tail feathers are accented with linear stamped details, while the legs are rendered in a jagged, geometric lightning bolt design. The reverse lacks hallmarks and is fitted with a horizontal pin featuring a revolving safety C-clasp. Length: Approximately 2 inches Weight: 0.189 ozt. The brooch is in good vintage condition with a natural dark patina and surface tarnish consistent with age. Both turquoise inlays are present and secure. The pin mechanism is in working order. Some visible solder is present at the attachment points of the pin findings on the reverse.
