1886 US Morgan Silver Dollar - This 1886 US Morgan Silver Dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. It features the George T. Morgan design on both the obverse and reverse. The absence of a mint mark on the reverse above the DO in DOLLAR identifies this as a Philadelphia strike. The surfaces exhibit original mint luster. The coin is currently housed in a non-professional 2x2 cardboard and plastic flip with handwritten identification in blue ink. Diameter: 38.1 mm Weight: 26.73 grams. Uncirculated condition with strong mint luster. The obverse shows scattered contact marks on the cheek and in the fields. The strike is sharp, with high points on the hair and the eagle's breast feathers well-defined. There are no visible signs of cleaning or environmental damage.
