1928 US Peace Silver Dollar - 1928 US Peace silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 0.900 fine silver and 0.100 copper. It features the designer Anthony de Francisci monogram ”AF” at the base of the neck truncation. No mint mark is present on the reverse above the eagle's tail feathers. The 1928 Philadelphia strike is the lowest mintage circulation issue in the Peace dollar series, with a total mintage of 360,649. Weight: 0.857 ozt. Circulated specimen showing heavy wear and flattening of high-relief details in the hair and eagle's feathers. The surfaces exhibit numerous abrasions, marks, and dark toning throughout.
