1983 and 1986 US Kennedy Half Dollars, A Pair of Selectively Gold-Plated Coins by The Danbury Mint - A pair of US Kennedy half dollars dated 1983 and 1986, featuring aftermarket selective gold plating on the obverse portraits. The 1983 coin bears the P mint mark for Philadelphia, and the 1986 coin bears the D mint mark for Denver. Both specimens are struck in a copper-nickel clad composition and exhibit mirrored fields with frosted devices. These coins are presented on an original blue and white promotional card from The Danbury Mint, which includes the corporate script logo and customer service contact information. Uncirculated.
