Late 20th Century Southwestern Sterling Silver and Turquoise Beaded Watch Band - This Southwestern-style jewelry piece is a watch band featuring three strands of turquoise nugget beads and one strand of graduated sterling silver bench beads on each of its two matching segments. The strands are anchored by two decorative sterling silver plates with a scalloped edge and a stamped Sunface mask design. The mask elements include rectangular eyes, a circular mouth, and radiating lines. The strands are gathered into fluted silver cones at the opposite ends. The segments are currently connected by a lobster claw clasp and a short silver link chain. The materials utilized include sterling silver, turquoise, and watch band components. The reverse of one decorative plate is stamped STER and a maker hallmark of a stylized capital K enclosed in a square. Length: 6.75 inches. The watch band is in good vintage condition with significant natural patina and tarnish to the silver. All turquoise beads are present and intact, exhibiting natural surface texture and matrix. The clasp and chain are in working order.
