1926-S US Peace Silver Dollar - This US silver dollar is a 1926-S Peace dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint as indicated by the ”S” mint mark located on the reverse below the eagle's tail feathers. The obverse features the Peace dollar Lady Liberty profile design, while the reverse displays the Peace dollar eagle design. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and the date 1926 on the obverse, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE on the reverse. It exhibits significant wear consistent with the ”Fine” to ”Very Fine” grade range, with notable flattening on the high points of Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s plumage.
