Vintage Cast Aluminum Aces Car Club Plaque - A vintage cast aluminum car club plaque for the Aces. This shield-shaped plaque features an arched top with two integrated mounting holes at the upper corners. The face is decorated with a blue and gold polychrome finish. The word ACES appears in raised, gold-tone serif lettering against a curved blue background. Positioned below the text are the four playing card suits—heart, diamond, spade, and club—rendered as raised blue icons on a textured, pebbled gold-tone field. The reverse side remains in its raw cast metal state, showing prominent horizontal tool marks and light blue paint transfer from the production process. The back is incised with the manufacturer mark SPEED CONS above the location MPLS MINN, identifying the maker as Speed-Cons of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Width: 9.25 inches Height: 5.125 inches. The plaque is in good vintage condition. There is visible paint wear, including a notable white scuff or chip on the letter A and along the right edge. Light surface scratching is present throughout the blue painted sections. The reverse side exhibits surface oxidation and manufacturing marks consistent with age and cast metal production. Mounting holes are intact.
