Fantastic Four #4 (May 1962) First Silver Age Appearance of the Sub-Mariner - This is an original Silver Age Marvel comic book, The Fantastic Four issue 4, published in May 1962. The indicia identifies the publisher as Canam Publishers Sales Corp. This major key issue features the first Silver Age appearance of the Sub-Mariner, Namor. The story was written by Stan Lee with pencils by Jack Kirby and inking by Joe Sinnott. The cover art depicts the Fantastic Four encountering Namor on a beach.
