A Trio of Antique Cast Brass Erie and Lehigh Valley Railroad Switch Keys - A trio of antique cast brass railroad switch keys from the Erie Railroad and Lehigh Valley Railroad. One Erie Railroad key is stamped ERIE on the obverse and bears the maker mark for the E.T. Fraim Lock Co. consisting of the word FRAIM inside a keystone, accompanied by the stamps 732 and S. A second Erie Railroad key is stamped ERIE and bears a number 2 on the reverse bow. The third key is stamped L.V.R.R. for the Lehigh Valley Railroad on the obverse and ADLAKE for the Adams and Westlake Company on the reverse, along with the stamp CL 198. Each key is constructed from cast brass and features a circular bow, cylindrical shank, and hollow barrel. The bits are uniquely notched for specific lock configurations used in railroad operations. The items show an aged brass patina with surface wear, minor pitting, and scratches consistent with historical field use. The markings remain legible.
