The upper portion features a spring-actuated plunger topped with a decorative mushroom finial. Below the plunger, a faceted neck is incised with Roman numerals I, II, and III, which correspond to three circular cutting apertures located on the octagonal body to accommodate various cigar gauges. The base is a weighted, stepped form designed for tabletop stability. The underside is fitted with a metal plate and a sliding pin-in-slot mechanism for maintenance. Upper metal assembly length: 4 inches Base diameter: 4.5 inches Estimated total height: 8.5 to 9 inches. The item is in good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The upper metal component is currently detached from the base, and the original mounting screws are not present. There are visible chips and surface oxidation on the black-painted finish of the base. The silver-toned plating exhibits minor tarnishing and surface wear. The internal cutting mechanism is untested.
