The globe terminates at the top with a small glass nipple and features a wide, circular ground fitter rim at the base for fixture mounting. The piece is characteristic of late 19th or early 20th-century American glass production by manufacturers such as Phoenix Glass or the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Height: 7 inches Diameter: 8 inches Fitter Size: 3.25 inches. Very good antique condition. The ground fitter rim shows minor roughness and small flea bites typical of age and use in a metal fixture. Minor surface scuffs and small dark inclusions are present within the glass. No cracks, major chips, or repairs were observed.
