Victorian Era Neo-Renaissance Style Cast Brass Crumb Tray and Matching Brush Set - A set comprising a crumb scoop and matching brush, both constructed from cast brass with a golden-toned finish. The crumb tray features symmetrical high-relief decoration including scrolling foliage and floral patterns, centered by a winged mask. It is topped with a pierced openwork crest and a decorative upright handle. The corresponding brush features a curved back with matching foliate patterns and an elongated handle ending in a hanging ring. The brush is fitted with two-toned natural fiber bristles in red and beige. No maker marks are visible on either piece. Brush length: approximately 11.5 inches Tray width: approximately 8 inches. The set exhibits an aged patina with significant green oxidation in the recessed areas of the casting and on the handles. The reverse of the tray shows surface pitting and dark oxidation spots. The bristles show wear consistent with age and use.
