Vintage American Hand-Pieced Patchwork Utility Quilt - This vintage American utility quilt features a classic square patchwork design, hand-pieced from various cotton fabrics common in mid-century households. The scrap construction includes a multi-color palette of blues, reds, greens, and neutrals. The individual patches exhibit various patterns such as blue and white gingham, red and white ticking stripes, green check, and small-scale calico prints. The quilt is finished with functional, straight-line hand-quilting throughout. The reverse side consists of a cream-colored cotton fabric decorated with a small, repeating circular print. Length: 37 inches Width: 38 inches. Fair to good vintage condition. The piece shows significant signs of age and domestic use, including fraying and small holes on several individual fabric patches on the front. The reverse side exhibits general toning and a localized brown stain. The edges show moderate wear consistent with age.
