Bradley and Hubbard Arts and Crafts Style Reverse Painted Glass Landscape Table Lamp - An Arts and Crafts style table lamp featuring a reverse-painted glass shade on a Bradley and Hubbard cast metal base. The domed glass shade is finished with a matte, acid-etched exterior and is hand-painted on the interior with a continuous landscape depicting evergreen trees and rolling hills against a vibrant sunset sky. The color palette transitions from deep oranges and yellows at the crown to golden amber tones at the lower edge. The patinated cast metal base, manufactured by Bradley and Hubbard, features a fluted central column accented by an acanthus leaf collar, resting on a tiered circular foot with beaded decorative borders. The lamp is equipped with two light sockets operated by dual pull-chain switches with bell-shaped finials. The underside of the base is incised with the numerals 3383. The glass shade has a significant curved break near the top aperture that has been repaired. The repair is visible when the lamp is illuminated. The painted surface remains largely intact with no major losses. The cast metal base shows surface wear, oxidation, and thinning of the patinated finish consistent with age. The lamp is functional but features vintage wiring that should be inspected or replaced by a qualified electrician prior to use.
