Each piece features a shallow circular bowl with a hand-hammered surface. The larger ashtray is designed with three curved cigarette or cigar rests soldered to the rim, while the smaller ashtray features two rests. Both pieces are marked on the underside with the Roycroft shop mark, which includes the distinctive orb and cross logo above the incised name CROFT. Large Ashtray: 8 inches bowl diameter; 9.25 inches total width. Small Ashtray: 4.5 inches bowl diameter; 5.75 inches total width. Both pieces remain in good antique condition with a warm, aged copper patina. The larger ashtray shows some visible solder residue at the base of one rest.
