A Pair of US Morgan Silver Dollars, 1880-O and 1889-O Micro O Variety - A pair of US Morgan silver dollars consisting of an 1880-O and an 1889-O Micro O variety. Both coins were struck at the New Orleans Mint and are composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The 1889 specimen is identified as the Micro O variety, featuring a smaller mint mark than the standard issue. The set is housed in a black presentation case from The Bradford Exchange Mint and includes a certificate of authenticity stating the condition as Fine or Better. Both coins are in Fine condition, showing substantial circulation wear on the high points of the obverse and reverse. The surfaces exhibit a dull gray patina with no remaining mint luster. Numerous small contact marks and abrasions are present on both coins. The 1889 coin displays a conspicuous dark spot on the reverse wing of the eagle.
