Bidspirit auction | 1962 Canada 1 Cent Off-Center

1962 Canada 1 Cent Off-Center Strike Error Coin - This 1962 Canada 1-cent coin features a major off-center strike error coin misaligned by approximately 20 percent toward the 4 o'clock position. Struck in a bronze alloy, the obverse displays the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse features the maple leaf motif, 1 CENT denomination, and the date 1962. The specimen is housed in a vintage 2x2 cardboard and plastic holder with handwritten notations identifying the error and the original dealer, Mayfair Jewellery + Coins of Edmonton, Alberta. No third-party professional grading is present. The coin retains a high degree of original mint luster and appears to be in uncirculated condition. Several small, dark toning spots are visible on both the obverse and reverse surfaces. The vintage cardboard holder shows typical age-related wear and light staining.
