Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver and Tiger's Eye Poison Ring, AEH - This vintage sterling silver poison ring features an ornate design consistent with mid-century Mexican silverwork from the Taxco region. The ring centers an oval cabochon tiger's eye set on a hinged lid that opens to reveal a small interior compartment. The central setting is flanked by two smaller round cabochon tiger's eyes. All three stones are bezel-set with decorative rope-twist borders. The body of the ring is further decorated with repoussé leaf motifs. The piece is constructed with an adjustable wrap-style shank. A circular hallmark on the interior of the band identifies the metal as 925 sterling silver and includes the country of origin MEXICO and the maker mark AEH.
