The O mint mark is located on the reverse, centered above the denomination. This issue is part of the series designed by George T. Morgan and produced by the United States Mint between 1878 and 1904. The coin exhibits moderate wear on the high points of the hair, cap, and eagle's breast feathers, consistent with a fine to very fine grade. Significant dark toning is visible along the peripheries and within the recessed areas of the design. Surfaces show typical contact marks and small abrasions consistent with time in circulation.
