1890 US Silver Morgan Dollar, Philadelphia Mint - This US silver dollar is an 1890 issue from the Morgan series. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, the coin lacks a mint mark on the reverse above the denomination. It is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse features the Liberty Head design type, and the reverse features the Heraldic Eagle design type. The coin has a reeded edge. Weight: 0.849 ozt. Circulated condition with significant wear across high relief areas, particularly on the eagle's breast feathers and Liberty's hair. The surfaces exhibit dark, mottled toning and numerous contact marks and scratches consistent with heavy circulation.
