A Pair of US Historic Providence Mint Miniature Sterling Silver Morgan Dollars - A pair of struck miniature sterling silver tokens issued by The Historic Providence Mint. These items are modeled after the 1878 Morgan Silver Dollar and feature the CC mint mark. Each token utilizes the Morgan Silver Dollar obverse and reverse designs, including the inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and ONE DOLLAR, with the date 1878. The lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, serial number 28300, signed by Managing Director Joseph W. England. Diameter: approx. 1/4 inch each Weight: 0.022 troy ounces (total). Very fine. The tokens exhibit original silver luster with scattered dark toning and minor surface marks. The accompanying documentation shows light signs of aging, including minor creases and spotting.
