Victorian Style Silver Plated Hand Mirror with Porcelain Medallion - This hand mirror is constructed from silver-plated metal over a yellow-toned base metal, exhibiting a Victorian-influenced aesthetic. The reverse features a circular inset medallion made of white porcelain or enamel, decorated with a black transfer-printed scrolling foliate and floral design. The frame and handle are elaborately decorated with chased and engraved floral and scrollwork patterns. A large slotted screw is positioned at the base of the handle. No maker's marks, hallmarks, or serial numbers are present on the item. Total length: 9.5 inches. The mirror is in fair condition with significant signs of age. The glass mirror plate exhibits heavy desilvering, foxing, and surface oxidation.
