Two Pieces of Navajo Sterling Silver Jewelry Including a Petrified Wood Ring and a Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Bracelet - This lot consists of two pieces of Navajo sterling silver jewelry: a ring and a hinged bangle bracelet. The ring features a large, bezel-set oval cabochon of dark brown stone with natural veining, appearing to be petrified wood, surrounded by a decorative border of cast floral and leaf motifs. The hinged bangle bracelet features rectangular inlays of pink mother-of-pearl or shell and utilizes a tongue-and-groove clasp. Both pieces are composed of sterling silver. An illegible mark is present on the interior of the bracelet band. Ring size: US 5.25 Total weight: 14.53 grams. Both pieces exhibit a dark patina consistent with aged silver and surface wear throughout. Visible green oxidation is present near the settings of the bracelet. The metal shows light scuffs and scratches consistent with use. The hinge and clasp of the bracelet are functional.
