US 1886-O Morgan Silver Dollar - A raw US 1886 Morgan silver dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint. This specimen features the classic Morgan design type with the Liberty head obverse and heraldic eagle reverse. The mint mark O is clearly visible on the reverse, positioned above the DO in DOLLAR. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Weight: 0.859 ozt. Circulated. The coin shows significant wear on the high points of the design, particularly on Liberty's hair and the eagle's breast and wing feathers. The surfaces exhibit numerous contact marks, hairline scratches, and areas of dark peripheral toning. The overall wear is consistent with a Very Fine (VF) grade.
