A Pair of Mexican Modernist Sterling Silver Spiral Earrings - A matched mirrored pair of modernist stud earrings crafted from sterling silver. Each earring features a broad, stylized spiral or nautilus shell motif, characterized by a sweeping, three-dimensional contoured form. The earrings are equipped with post backings for pierced ears. The reverse of both pieces is stamped with the fineness mark 925, the country of origin MEXICO, and the Taxco registration mark TM-12. Diameter: Approximately 1.5 inches Weight: 0.392 ozt. The earrings are in good vintage condition. Both pieces exhibit significant surface tarnish and oxidation. Fine surface scratches are present throughout, consistent with age and wear. One butterfly clutch backing is missing.
