1923 US Silver Peace Dollar - 1923 United States Silver Peace Dollar, KM# 150, struck at the Philadelphia mint. The obverse features the Peace Dollar design by Anthony de Francisci with a left-facing profile of Liberty wearing a radiate crown and the designer's monogram near the neck. The reverse depicts an eagle perched on a rock inscribed with the word PEACE, looking toward a rising sun with rays. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper and features a reeded edge. No mint mark is present. Weight: 0.859 ozt. The coin is in circulated condition, exhibiting significant wear on high points including Liberty's hair and the eagle's plumage. Numerous contact marks, scratches, and small abrasions are visible across both surfaces. Dark toning is present within the recessed areas of the design and inscriptions.
