Canada Bronze Cent, Queen Elizabeth II, Full Obverse Brockage Mint Error - Canada bronze cent featuring a major mint error identified as a full obverse brockage. The obverse depicts the second laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse displays a mirrored, incuse impression of the obverse design, a result of a previously struck coin adhering to the upper die and striking the planchet. The coin is housed in a paper flip from Mike's Coin Shop of Green Bay, Wisconsin, with a handwritten identification of CAN - INCUSE STRIKE. A date is not visible on the planchet due to the nature of the error strike, though the flip features a crossed-out date that appears to be 1977. The coin has a plain edge. Circulated. The coin displays heavy reddish-brown toning and patches of dark oxidation. Surface marks and minor abrasions are present on both the obverse and the incuse reverse.
